UK Newspaper uses one of my Photographs
Published in the Telegraph (UK)
The problem with licensing your photographic work through an agency is that is often difficult to collect tearsheets or to see your work actually in print. However, I’m always happy to see my work in print, as it means someone likes my work to both license it and publish it. To me one of the best reviews is to either publish my work or hang it on a wall.
A recent experiment with looking for my work via Google resulted in discovering that Lonely Planet and the UK Newspaper, The Telegraph, published one of my photographs in its travel section.

Interview
Advanced Photography Interview
Well, I was interviewed by a www.advancedphotography.net, a widely read photography website focused on professional and advanced photography. I was contacted by Shivanand Sharma, who runs the website. He is one of my regular readers and wondered if he could interview me for his website. I agreed and over the weekend we did the interview.
You can check it out here.
I confess I am always surprised when I’m contacted for an interview. To be honest, it doesn’t happen all THAT often and when it does I am quite complimented. It’s funny that I’ve done a lot of interviews when I was doing more journalism than photojournalism, so interviewing people is quite comfortable for me. I’m strangely not as comfortable on the other side of the microphone, so to speak. It’s an interesting experience that helps me better understand what people go through during the interview process.
I hope you like the interview and I hope I don’t come across as a complete idiot. Nonethlesless, I would really be interested in your feedback.
